Mwito Natural - Rwanda

This naturally processed lot from the Mwito central washing station has been produced by exceptional smaller farms in the area near the stunning Lake Kivu. Actually, this washing station has one of the more difficult areas of farming regarding access to milling stations. However, the Rwanda Trading Company (RTC) saw the potential and value in this area and invested in the farmers to bring stunning coffee to the world.

Initial tastes are explosive with juicy fruits, sugary sweetness and creamy berries. The result are very exciting and yet, it still retains a very clean cup.

Did you know - the RTC has not only invested in the farmers but also the community. Only two years into supporting the farmers has a kindergarten been established, cows been provided at the washing station for providing milk, organic fertiliser and eduction in agriculture. Currently 150 children now benefit from these investments.
